HP unveils new products at Global Influencer Summit 2012

Enterprise ultrabooks and ARM-driven sleekbooks among new products launched in Shanghai

HP launched around 80 new products at their Global Influencer Summit in Shanghai this week, including ultrabooks, workstations, thin clients and printers. The company said it aims to drive reliability, apply its scale to make technology products more accessible and tune in to what customers need to drive innovation.

HP ENVY ultrabook

The new HP ENVY ultrabook is available in 14-inch and 15.6-inch versions and features a soft-touch, slip-resistant base, dual speakers and a subwoofer for movies and music. It also includes HP Beats Audio, for high-quality sound, CoolSense technology to optimise performance and cooling, Imagepad, for multifinger touch and gesture navigation, and TrueVision HD Webcam to produce bright HD images.
